Hi everyone! My name is Holly. You can call me that or my user name. I am a 25 year old moderate Southern Baptist who attends a Fundamentalist Baptist Church. I attend a Fundamentalist Baptist Church because they seem to be much more solid in their theology than the Southern Baptist Church in my area. I also like how they only use one Bible version, the KJV. I am not a KJV Onlyist but it is helpful when the pastor does not change Bible versions throughout his sermons. I also like how this church has so many different ministries. :) Also, most of my friends go to this church as well.

Well anyway, I look forward to posting with you all. :)

All we ask is that you not spend too much on the board. The limit of 1,000 posts per day will strictly enforced:laugh:

    Thanks Plain Old Bill. :)

 I don't think I could post 1,000 posts per day on any board.

But yeah, I am from Indiana. Why do you ask?

Welcome to the Baptist Board, Holly. I prefer the Old King James, but it's difficult finding a church in Florida that uses it. I don't like the southern Baptist churches as well as the northern Baptist. I'm finding doctrinal differences that are a problem for me, but I can live with it since I have no choice.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Jon-Marc, is there a difference between the Old King James and the King James Version?

I said Old because there is a New King James with all the archaic words changed.
