Hi,
Just found this place via Tapatalk and joined. I'm originally from Maryland but have lived several places, and currently live in Fayetteville, NC.

I'm married, my wife and I attend Berean Baptist Church of Fayetteville and we have 3 adult kids and 2 grandkids with one on the way.

Oh, and I retire from the Army in about 3 months!

Well, we seem to have much in common. ;)

What part of Maryland? I grew up in Oakland, MD, but live in the Spout Springs/Johnsonville area now.

Welcome to BB! Enjoy your time here. Better yet, enjoy that retirement coming up.

I used to live in Winston-Salem, myself - that was back in the mid 70's.

I was born in Annapolis, still have family in Annapolis and the rest of AA County for that matter.

I've also lived in Southern California, Virginia, Texas and now North Carolina of course.

We really like NC and plan on staying here.

Welcome!

Two brothers retired Army.

I see that you will stay in NC after three months.

That is a beautiful part of the country.

If you’ve never been to The Wilds, look them up on line and see if you can find a slot open for you and the family. It is well worth the time and expense.
