Keeping in the same vein as the childhood memories, what are some special high school memories?

Being on stage in several theatrical productions
The drama group at school - improv group
Perfoming in honors assemblies rather than "attending them"
    Choir tours
Close friends you saw every day
Reading profusely (plays, sci-fi, etc.)along with and in addition to my school work
    Youth Choir at church

These are a few of mine.

High School memories? Another dispensation when nobody had any fun . .

*Marching band in a gajillion parades and lots of trips (first airplane trip)

*Dunking (illegal in my day; but hey, I'm 6'6") and getting a flagrant foul on the court for doing it

    *Debate/Forensics

*Bible club, leading a teacher to the Lord (later to be a deacon in my home church)

*Graduating early and going to Seminary before going to College

My high school happened to be "lined up" with the East-West runway of the Baton Rouge airport about a mile away---when the commercial planes came in for a landing or were taking off---it shook and rattled the windows and drowned out the teacher's voice(that was the fun part!!)

It's interesting to note how we date ourselves with our memories.

Missing my freshman year because of near-fatal injuries from a motorcycle wreck (I did have a 'home-bound' teacher and got credit in 4 subjects that way).

A pathetic counselor who told me before my sophomore year that Advanced Algebra and Geometry were the same level course. I opted for AA and flunked it, and the teacher recommended I take 'Introductory' math the next year, but I took Geometry and made all A's. I later achieved my BS in Mathematics. That counselor BTW was a distant relative.

Being constantly picked on and mocked because I limped and had gained weight during my recovery, and as a result being friendless by choice.

Having nothing-- zilch-- listed by my name in the senior directory of the yearbook (which I refused to buy, did see once).

Making my biggest impressions on, of all people, English teachers. They loved my creative writing and that because any time we had to do reciting of a poem or famous speech, including Hamlet's most noted soliloquy, I made a perfect mark. [I'm sure they didn't remotely realize how much I related to most of these.]

    Refusing to attend my graduation.

There are a lot more "memories," of course, but that should be enough to show what my high school years were like.

Letting a teacher know that we have 26 Amendments ( this was in the 70's) when he said we had 25 and telling him that Thomas Jeferson was the President of the United States when he said otherwise and telling him what page & chapter he could find the information on.
