If Val thinks that Russia can afford it, I won't be surprised if he does try again to take over Finland. Finland's desire to join NATO, is provoking the Russians, or actually Val, to respond with might, which I believe he will do. Question is, even if Russia did attack a NATO country, I doubt very much if any NATO country, will attack Russia, as this could lead to a nuclear WW3, where there will be no winners!
We in the "West" condemn what Russia has done to invade another country Ukraine, but we are also guilty of our own fake "war" in Iraq, with false documents presented by Bush and Blair, for which they should be tried for war crimes.

Provoking Russia has to be one of the all time stupidest ideas there is. As mentioned by SBG, nuclear war could be the result. And who's fault would it be? The provoking nation. In this case the United States. If Trump was President, he would have never provoked Russia into invading Ukraine.
Provoking would be attacking Russia. That has not been done since WWII. Russia is acting like a bully and using nukes as a bully tactic.

We're were warned years ago not to put missiles on the border of Russia. Remember how we felt when they put missiles in Cuba? Remember how we had to take our missiles out of Turkey when they took theirs out of Cuba? We are hemming them in. The old Soviet Union fell long ago. We're taking advantage. We are actually dumb enough now to think we can win a nuclear war with Russia. You can't get any more wrong than that.
As far as I know, no American missiles have been placed in Ukraine. With current tech, we don't need to. You are swallowing Putin's paranoia hook line and sinker.
When they join Nato, thats when we would put missiles there. Putin drew a line. We crossed it.
By the way. A launch from Ukraine to Russia would give them no response time. With todays tech.

Putin still thinks he can resurrect the Old Soviet and/or the Russian Empire where the Tzar forced Ukrainians into subscription. Just because Russia is weakest now is no reason to take advantage. No reason to keeping hostile attitudes. Let nuclear dogs lay still.

Yes, the American natives have done and were doing something terribly wrong. Therefore, the invaders deliberately infected them with smallpox as early as 1763.I had to chuckle at the phrase "provoking Russia." During the run-up to WWII, lots of folks tried to "appease" and not "provoke" Mr Hitler. The invaders always claim the invaded had done and were doing something terribly wrong.
The Americans are developing biological weapons around the world. Biolaboratories of the Pentagon are also present in Ukraine.
