My dad, a WW@ vet, insisted Hitler had a demon for awhile, & as time passed, I began to believe he was right as I studied Hitler's life.

He was an ordinary drifter for awhile, same as thousands of others. Then, in WW1, he led a charmed life & was awarded for heroism as a messenger, which was a dangerous pre-radio job in battle. Then, he almost-accidentally found he could "speak" & garner rapt attention.

His only real hiccup was the failed "beer-hall putsch" of 1923. From then on, he resolved to do things legally, and nothing but success came his way. Same for the war, till France fell. At that point, his demon left him on his own. His first mistake was not allowing his forces to occupy Dunkirk & the surrounding area & forct the BEF to surrender. From there on it got worse; his biggest mistake was the sneak attack upon the USSR. (They were as much aroused to fury as the USA was by the Pearl harbor attack.)

Yep, the evidence became clear to me from his early succ3esses, from becoming Fuehrer, to occupying the Rhineland & occupying Austria, to his cowing of Chamberlain at Munich, then, his string of easy battle victories. The fall of France was all she wrote for the demon's possessing of him.

Why would the demon leave Hitler if he was on the brink of defeating the (mostly) Christianized Western powers?

Regardless of demonic possession in this case, the idea that the favor and power of a demon somehow guarantees success is entirely unbiblical. There is no power that can thwart God's intentions. God can defeat a demon just as surely as he can a man.

Well, men, by themselves, can't beat a demon. But most likely, God allowed a demon to enter Hitler to show how easily He can allow one man to menace the whole world. I believe Napoleon & Hitler were forerunners of the "beast", who will make those two seem as naughty toddlers in comparison.

We see that, on his own, Hitler wasn't too bright. But it seems he was supernaturally protected. While "leading the pack" at the "beer hall putsch", he wasn't shot. A few attempts on his life were made before he became Fuehrer. A man named Georg Elser placed a time bomb in a column near the speaker's dais in a Munich beer hall where Hitler delivered an annual speech. However, he cut his speech short & left 13 minutes before the bomb exploded, killing 8 people & almost collapsing the hall. Another time, a British-made bomb, of a reliable, powerful type used to kill Heydrich, was placed in Hitler's plane, but failed to explode. And the story of Stauffenburg's attempt to blow him up in the "Wolf's Lair" is well-known.

Hitler was simply not smart enough to have risen to the heights he did, on his own. This is apparent in the story of his life from boyhood on.

Most likely, the Holy Spirit made the demon leave him before he acquired too much power. Remember, he was in position to have forced both Britain & Russia out of the war, in which case he woulda been much-harder to defeat.

The demon woulda liked to have made him the "beast", but God's time for the beast hadn't arrived yet, so the Holy Spirit still stood in the beast's way from becoming manifest.

Most likely God made the syphilis dementia take hold before he acquired too much power.

While a corpsman, I had to treat more than one syphilis case. Syphilitic dementia, known as paresis, generally takes about 20 years to develop. & its onset is in stages, not suddenly.

Hitler went from genius to idiot in a few short weex. He was on toppa the world when France fell, but, beginning with Dunkirk, he couldn't do anything right. I'm sure syph didn't help him, but he appeared to have had some "outside help" reaching the heights he did.

Wouldja believe Hitler actually considered studying for the RC priesthood in his younger days ? I'd venture to say his dabbling in the occult allowed the demon into him.

Note that you cited thwarted assassination attempts which happened even years after Dunkirk. If you claim the demon was present during all of those times, then you are supporting my point regarding demon proximity, not yours.

He almost-certainly had a demon from the end of WW1 til just after the fall of France. And who's to say GOD didn't keep him alive in order to punish some peoples, and to punish the Jews a few years more. Left on his own after France fell, he was a total flop.

The point to refute, that is, the one I made and which you rightly continue to bolster, is that unless God allowed it, Hitler could have done nothing. No demon can successfully oppose God. The demon did not have to leave Hitler for Hitler to fail miserably.

I am not trying to pick a fight over Hitler or his demon. The point is much bigger, namely that God is involved, not just man. God’s people pray, God answers according to his will, demons be damned.

Now, surely you don't think GOD caused Hitler to do what he did.

I've studied Hitler's life closely, as I was curious as to how one man could, in modern times, attain the power he did. As a youth, he was rather scatter-brained, with very few friends. His best friend was an Austrian named August Kubizek, who remained his friend when Hitler attained power.

After the war, Kubizek noted Hitler was none too bright despite being a 'bookworm' & had some weird ideas, traits that were noted by some of Hitler's schoolteachers. He showed no aptitude for anything much, but in WW1 he was twice decorated for bravery, as a message runner. a hazardous duty on a battlefield in pre-radio days.

After the war, he avoided discharge because of his virulent anti-Communist views, being assigned to monitor the many little political groups then springing up in Munich. He then suddenly acquired oratory ability, as he founfd he had while "preaching" to a barracks full of soldiers about the evils of Communism & that Austria was actually German. In his monitoring work, he attended a meeting of a small group, the "German Workers' Party", became incensed at one speaker's anti-Nationalist views, & stood up to oppose him, entrancing the small audience. The rest is well-known history.

Apparently, the demon possessed him just after the war, as only then did he acquire great oratory ability. usually, great speakers show their ability early on, but not Hitler. His came SUDDENLY.

Apparently, God ordered the demon to leave him shortly after France fell. And again, the rest is history.

After WWI he was a mediocre artist/painter. He used his "talent" to make advertising billboards for a while, before quitting his job and living on the dole.

No, of course not, and I never said anything remotely suggesting that, as you well know. Making such a comment sounds like you are not even bothering to read in order to understand the point being made.

The issue is whether a demon can thwart God, and the answer is no. This means that no matter how strongly someone is influenced by a demon, he cannot alter events beyond whatever limits God sets. Whether the demon is absent or present is not the determining factor. God is. I find it hard to believe you don't agree with that generally.

BTW, did you abandon your belief that the demon was involved in the assassination failures after Dunkirk?

No, God ALLOWED the demon to control Hitler. When He decided enough was enough, He ordered the demon out of him. But He could've allowed the demon to protect him from assassination, or even prevented it Himself. We don't know.

God has allowed demons to enter many people. But all of them MUST obey God's commands. If he orders them out of a person, they will leave that person, no matter how hard they resist it. The demons know this, just as the ones Jesus ordered out of a man, but whom He allowed to enter a herd of pigs HAD to do. The HOLY SPIRIT now controls what people (or animals) demons may now enter.

Hitler's demon was a powerful one who was likely trying to bring on the apocalypse thru Hitler, but it wasn't time for it yet, so God stopped him. The demons must think they'll have a chance against God at the apocalypse, with their leader Satan being present. That's why they want it to hurry up & happen.

Satan, the chief of the demons, will enter the "beast/antichrist" himself.

I'm GUESSING one reason God prevented Hitler to escape assassination might've been so no one could claim to have been Hitler's killer, just as no one can claim to have been Iscariot's killer, nor any one person responsible for Jesus' death. Again, that's pure conjecture on my part.

That's exactly what I said--God allows and prevents. And you're right in saying we don't know how he worked in it all. Meaning we also don't know if the demon actually left Hitler or if God, who is far more powerful than any demon, defeated the demon at every failure point. But enough beating this horse--it's obviously beyond drinking.

BTW, RT, I'm not trying to CONTEND with you. It's just that I've carefully studied almost all of what is known about Hitler's life from childhood onward, & saw he was quite an ordinary Austrian child.

His grandpa, Johann, used the names Heidler, Huettler, Huttler, and Hitler, among others, before finally settling on "Hitler" in later life. He was a travelling miller who had numerous affairs, including one with maria Schicklgruber, which resulted in the birth of Adolf's father, Alois Schicklgruber.

When Alois was age 39, his 84-yr-old father came forward to the parish priest in Dollersheim where Alois then lived, & acknowledged him as his son, which automatically changed his surname to Hitler. Close research by Austrian historians confirm this. This was in 1875 before Adolf was born.

Adolf was an ordinary boy who did average in school. He acquired a sense of German nationalism early on, but so did many other Austrians who seemed to be of German descent.

Hitler managed to get himself accepted into the german army in Bavaria, after failing an Austrian draft physical earlier. There, he often expressed his German nationalist feelings & was ready to fight anyone who argued against them, but again, many other Austrians felt the same way.

Hitler finished the war in a hospital, having been gassed at Ypres, Belgium. While crushed by Germany's surrender, he managed to stay in the army's employ due to his anti-Communist rhetoric. Again, nothing outta the ordinary for him til he found he could "speak" & hold audiences spellbound. I believe the demon had entered him shortly after the war & enabled him to become an orator & demagogue.

The biggest joke about all the leading Hitlerites is that most of them were not the blue eyed blonde haired Aryan type that the Nazi's said was the ideal human. Aside from Reinhard Heydrich who was the power in Bohemia, they were for the most part dark haired non Aryan looking people.

Yeah; Hitler himself had dark hair & eyes.

Actually, the TRUE Aryans of history were some of the ancestors of the Rom, commonly called Gypsies, something Hitler wouldn't admit. He put Gypsies in concentration camps as "undesirables".

(The name "Gypsy" is a handle for "Egyptian". Several hundred years ago, some believed the Rom were Egyptians, which was wrong, of course.)
