Holding up promotions of Generals

    Sen. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama has put on a "hold" for promotion and assignment of Generals and Admirals

    Recently SECDEF put out a policy that DOD is to provide FREE leave time and paid travel for female GI's who live in a pro-life State/Commonwealth. This new policy will assist the GI to travel to a pro-abortion for the sole purpose of obtaining an abortion.
    Sen Tuberville says that as soon as SECDEF deletes that policy - then the promotions and assignments will go thru.

    I agree with the Senator

    Interesting. I would think that the military needs to have people in command positions.

    The current Deputy Commandant Gen Eric Smith is the Acting Commandment. He also is the one who has been nominated to fill the position.

    But the CoS's are not in command - they are advisors to the President!
