    Could be...it's wide open. Your guys handled my Vols in the pre-season NIT. But we'll be around come March :) Ask Okla St, Memphis, and Texas :thumbsup:

    I like UNC, but does a #1 ranking in early January mean anything?

    IMO, actually, it does, although not always positive.

    It is the equivalent of getting a bulls-eye painted over the team logo, week in; week out, for everyone else wants to say they knocked off #1.

    And it can also cause the #1 ranked team to play a bit harder, because no one wants to be called "over-rated", and get knocked off by some "unrated" or low rated team, either.
