If before the fall all animals were vegetarians then what about animals like scorpions? What does a vegetarian scorpion need a sting for? Somehow this is so hard to imagine how everything is supposed to have looked originally. I just saw a documentary about poisonous animals and it was really shocking. I wonder why does God even create animals with a poison strong enough to kill humans? Why are there animals which have such a strong poison that even humans can die from it? The prey of these animals is usually other animals which are smaller than humans. Then why do they need such a strong poison?
I think this is one of the main problems which evolutionists have with God. They see the perfection in nature but they also see how mercyless animals kill each other. Somehow it's really hard to imagine that God invented things like nerve poison which paralyzes the prey. Or when you think about spiders which eat their victims alive. How can God even invent such things? Isn't this totally against God's nature? Is God even capable of inventing such cruel things?
And there are also so many other remaining questions about how God originally imagined life.
Even if there was no death in Eden what would have happened if Adam had stepped on an ant? Would this ant have died? Or what would have happened if Eve had fallen down from a cliff? Would she have hurt herself? Or would even getting an injury have been impossible in Eden?
