Is it possible to go to a website and download the index page and then automatically draw in all the other pages on the site?

My memory says yes, but it also says I can't remember how

Is my memory just bad or bad and in error as well :tongue3:

Might take a third-party program.

Found a couple that run from $20-$50.

Found this one that's free (http://personal1.iddeo.es/andresgarci/getleft/english/), but it only recognizes plain HTML, so I'm betting a lot of pages won't load properly.

You might try this one: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Vista/2865/wd.htm

This one looks better: http://www.webreaper.net/

I didn't see any particular features or add-ons in Firefox to do this; don't know if Internet Explorer will "crawl" or not, since I only use IE at work.

I've never heard of a way to do this. . .

In IE:

To make the current Web page available offline
  1. On the Favorites menu, click Add to Favorites.
  2. Select the Make available offline check box.
  3. To specify a schedule for updating that page, and how much content to download, click Customize.
  4. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Note
  • Before you go offline, make sure you have the latest version of your pages by clicking the Tools menu and then clicking Synchronize.

Well, huh.

I can't seem to find a similar functionality in Firefox.

Don, thanks lots! The first one did just fine, already downloaded

James, thanks for the tip, off to try that right now. That may have been what was sticking in the back of my mind.

Thanks all!
