How does God get His tasks accomplished on earth?

(1) -- Does God create a man to have certain aptitudes, skills, abilities, etc.
so he can do a particular task when called upon to do it?

… OR …

(2) -- Does God choose a man who has the aptitudes, skills, abilities, etc.
to do a particular task when called upon to do it?

What do you think ... (1) or (2)?

How about the truth that God works through fallen people, whose means to accomplish His work is thru the abiding presense of the Holy spirit in them, for while we are all flesh and weak, the Spirit can and will do it thru us, to give us means to preach/teach/witness etc...

That is the "baptist way!"

The Baptist way ... what a laugh!

This question has interested me since 1994,
when after being called to be an evangelist to the villages of Bulgaria …
… I was speeding on dangerous mountain roads in my little rocketship
(an over-powered VW Golf-1), when I really sensed God saying to me (2 or 3 times):
“I raised you up for this purpose …
I gave you the necessary skills and abilities to do this work for Me.”

Then, I was really shocked a few years after 1994, when I read Jeremiah 1:4-5
“Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” ”

Isaiah 49:1,5 is a tad bit similar …
“The Lord has called me from the womb;
from the womb of my mother He has made mention of my name.
… And now the LORD says, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant …”

IMO, this Jeremiah 1:4-5 is the only really definitive such verse in Scripture.
Anyone up to proving me wrong? ... Nah! As usual, Nah!

A fellow elder at my church served in Bulgaria for more than a decade!

But what an attitude you show! Nobody's saying you're wrong, It's just not the whole story.

God chooses people with characteristics that fulfill his purposes.
God requires that we fear him, walk in his ways, love him, and serve him with all our heart (Deuteronomy 10:12, 13)… these are the ones that he greatly uses.

"And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’" Luke 19:17

By making us choose between the two choices you give, you are putting God in a box - you are saying he only works one way.

Hi, Rob ...

Art thou feelin' okay?
Your blue is my two ... Hey, nice ryhyme.
How, where, when, etc. are special attributes bestowed upon a person by the Lord?
Are they sometimes miraculously bestowed after birth? ... Hey, could be!
You tell us ... we're open to hearing your ideas.

Part the 2 ...
Did your fellow elder teach the Bulgarians to ask for the Spirit baptism and the power gifts
... to greatly benefit themselves and those around them?
No, I didn't think so ... please congratulate him for me. Thanks.
BTW, not really his fault ... and speakin' of congratulations ...
Blame the last 1900 years of church idiocy, and congratulate Satan while you're at it. Thanks.

Does God create men like Hitler, Stalin, George Carlin to murder or to blaspheme Himself?

Did God predestine 99% people not to believe in Jesus and to go to the Hell according to His will ?

So God called you to be a modern day prophet?
