How God deals with our sin

I have always said, “that the LORD is very clear when He corrects us”; Always making it crystal clear to us where we are going wrong! But that may not be the case......
V.12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
V.13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” (John 16:12-13)

The Lord may use the Holy Spirit, to HINT around to us about some of our sins, because(for some reason), we are not able to bear “all of the truth” at once.
------------------------
An interesting quandary:
The Bible says....
“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear [me]:” (Psalms 66:18)
(Therefore when we are diligent to quickly deal with any iniquity or sin in our life; This will keep the communication clear, between us and our LORD!)

But the Bible also says.......
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8)
(Therefore we should always be reminding ourselves, that we are “dirty rotten sinners and deserve to go to hell”!)

Now, this means that at this very moment, even though I have no unconfessed sin in my life or heart: “Sin is still there” and I just don’t know about it yet.
And sure enough, as I am faithful to daily study God’s Word and pray and expose myself to the preaching of God’s Word, He regularly “reveals” to me, SIN, that I have been committing all along, that I was unaware of.

The way that God reveals these sins to us, is by dropping hints into our mind about what we are doing: Showing us, how our behavior or thought life, looks to Him! And if we take the time to think about these hints, our eyes are opened and the light comes on and we can clearly see where we have been sinning all along! Then we have the opportunity to Repent of our sin and continue to draw closer to the LORD.

The more we focus on the holiness of God, the more we realize the sin in our lives.

Upon further review...

I have always said, “that the LORD is very clear when He corrects us”; Always making it crystal clear to us where we are going wrong! But that may not be the case......
No verse or passage was referenced to support that God always makes our transgressions clear. If we have not studied and learned "all" that Christ commanded, how would transgression of the parts we are ignorant of be made clear?

V.12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
V.13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” (John 16:12-13)
This passage may not have any direct application to other than Christ's apostles. Once they laid the foundation (as encapsulated in the New Testament) the indwelling might simply guide us as we study God's word.

The Lord may use the Holy Spirit, to HINT around to us about some of our sins, because(for some reason), we are not able to bear “all of the truth” at once.
Again, this might apply to the apostles, but we have "all truth" through God's inspired word.

(Therefore when we are diligent to quickly deal with any iniquity or sin in our life; This will keep the communication clear, between us and our LORD!)
This rings true, especially would we accept that failure to live by God's word is sin.

But the Bible also says.......
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8)
(Therefore we should always be reminding ourselves, that we are “dirty rotten sinners and deserve to go to hell”!)
While true, we need to remind ourselves of our specific short comings, and be diligent in striving to become more Christ-like.

Spot on.

Please allow the Spirit to "drop hints" by studying God's word and asking "do I measure up to all Christ commanded?"

How many preachers preach on the holiness of God?

I would hope all would but I know that is true. However, that doesn't mean that we are innocent. WE should be studying the Scriptures faithfully and as we do so, we will see clearly the holiness of God. :)

How many preachers preach on the holiness of God?

What exactly do you mean by this, OR?

As annsni wrote, it should be hoped that all do, but we know that many don't. Many so-called preachers have bought in to the idea of God as a prayer-fueled vending machine, doing nothing but dispensing blessing to anyone who prays in a certain way, or who "names it and claims it."

There are a lot of Christians who do not consider the holiness of God because the teachers in their lives have reduced God to human terms, instead of discussing Him in the holy and reverential manner that scripture speaks of Him.
