How Holy Laughter Have Some Things in Common with Hinduism

Since there is a report that holy laughter movement does happen in the Baptist churches, the late Dr. Roger Barrier did not discern it as apostasy, even though he did say not to pursue it, and yet this came about seeking a filling of the Spirit which I believe is the cause and effect for that phenomenon to occur.

What Is 'Holy Laughter' and Is it Biblical?

Although the Southern Baptist convention condemned it, it seems they are not discerning why God is allowing that strong delusion to occur in the Baptist churches in the first place.

Taking your eyes off of Christ in worship is why this is considered suffering a thief to break through.

FYI Those Baptists that misapply Ephesians 5:18 as if that is not just a call to stay sober but to seek a continual filling of the Spirit are opening themselves up to be suffering that phenomenon to occur.

The Grove City Alliance Church in Grove City PA teaches that notion about seeking a continual filling of the Spirit but when somebody began speaking in tongues as a result, they put an end to that tongue speaker right there by excommunicating him for not ceasing from it, and yet that is one of the phenomenon that can occur for taking your eyes off of Jesus Christ to practice the rudiment in the world for how they seek to receive other spirits by seeing it happen, but not so when born again of the Spirit.

Matthew 12:38-40 has Jesus condemning any believer for looking for a sign or proof so they can believe.

John 14:16-17 testifies that we will know the Holy Spirit by Him dwelling within us and not how the world receives spirits.

2 Corinthians 11:2-4 warns believers about those that preach another Jesus or another spirit which they have not received and thus preaching another gospel that are departing from the faith in Jesus Christ per 2 Corinthians 13:5.

There is only one hope of our calling for why there is no more baptism of the Holy Spirit to be had, let alone another filling of the Holy Spirit per Ephesians 4:4-6

Jesus testified that born again believers will be the same as new wineskins able to hold the new wine and thus not a leaky vessel per Matthew 9:17

That is why after coming to & believing in Jesus Christ, no saved believer will be seeking again to be filled per John 6:35.

After having received Christ Jesus, we are to walk in Him rooted in His words since we are complete in Christ to not be led away by the rudiments in the world, religious or supernatural or otherwise.

Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

This is what happens when saved believers take their eyes off of Christ in coming to God the Father by in worship John 14:6 by offering another way to come to the Father like by way of the Holy Spirit or the broad way by the Trinity which John 10:1 reproves as the emphasis is still on Jesus per John 10:7. This is why that "practice" fulfills the definition in principle of what an antichrist does as "instead of Christ".

When Jesus said how every believer will be judged by His Son per John 5:22 and that is that judgment is when they stop honoring the Son, they are no longer honoring the Father John 5:23

This is why I believe God is allowing these strong delusion to occur because they climbed up another way and so when by principle they are worshiping the Father instead of Christ, they suffer the spirits of the antichrist to break through, even when seeking a continual filling of the Holy Spirit, instead of Christ, is why He will say " I never knew ye, depart from me ye that work iniquity in Matthew 7:21-27 for not heeding His words in Matthew 7:13-14 as they took a different route Luke 13:24-30 for why they wind up being left behind, but still saved as Jesus Christ will continue His work in them in removing all that offends off of that foundation 1 Corinthians 3:10-17 for them to be resurrected after the great tribulation.

So may every believer that hears as the Lord enables, let us keep our eyes on the Son, since the Bridegroom will be coming soon for the abiding bride of Christ.

That, Brother Cathode, is not serving the Lord Jesus Christ nor testifying of Him in seeking His glory but of something else in His name in seeking the glory of that movement of the "spirit" which happens to be the spirits of the antichrist.

The term antichrist as it is applied in scripture means "instead of Christ" and so that movement is an example of an antichrist.

You are seeking that phenomenon instead of Christ for supposed healings and even the appearance of casting out if devils, but Jesus addressed that as workers of iniquity for coming to God by the broad way, the Trinity or another way, the Holy Spirit as the method for such a phenomenon is occurring as seeking that spirit "instead of Christ".

1 Corinthians 14: 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. < ----- no exceptions... not even for a moment

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. 25 Brethren, pray for us. < ---- God would never mimic anything that was already in the world before Pentecost had come.

Below is Jesus rebuking all believers for engaging in that work of iniquity that you are claiming to be of God in regards to seeking that "holy laughter" movement instead of Christ.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? < --- ecumenical in gathering

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. < ---- tongue for private users are sometimes known for condemning holy laughter as not of God but that emphasis on the baptism with the Holy Ghost with evidence of tongues as that apostate calling started in Azusa Street Revival in 1906-1909 also had a variation of holy laughter, and so tongue users may be against holy laughter as confusion which God is not the author of 1 Corinthians 14:32-33, but so is tongues without interpretation as that is the epitome of confusion for believing it is for private use because it comes without interpretation. That is why they have to judge tongues for private use is not of God as the holy laughter movement is not of God.

The indwelling holy Spirit will always point to the Bridegroom for believers to go to in worship. prayer, & fellowship whereas the spirits of the "antichrist" will not but take their focus away from the Son to their visitations.

Read post #5 as that "holy laughter" movement occurs in the same way as those who seek that baptism with the Holy Ghost with evidence of tongues as they are committing spiritual fornication / adultery for seeking a sign.

Everyone that is involved in that holy laughter movement or gained tongues by seeking that baptism with the Holy Ghost or any other phenomenon as gained by "instead of Christ" are committing adultery and at risk of being left behind as cast into the bed of the coming great tribulation.

Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

Make no mistake,

The rapture is before the great tribulation because that is when God will judge His House first. That is why Jesus is warning the churches and believers to be ready or else risk being disqualified to attend the marriage Supper in Heaven

1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
