Do you normally have dessert after your meals?
It is very important to have dessert.....after, before, or as a meal. That's how I maintain my figure.
… and kidneys! As a diabetic, I must be careful with the sweets. That said, I probably ate enough to get me to this point to last the rest of my life.
My daughter was going to get me a small, German chocolate cake (my favorite) for my wedding anniversary if I promised to only eat one small bite a day.
I turned her down because I knew I couldn’t keep the promise. First time I ever turned down GCC, but I’d rather keep my eyesight and toes for as long as I can.
peace to you
Yes, and kidneys.… and kidneys!
Yes, and kidneys.
After being an out of control diabetic for several years, I develop a myriad of health issues I never knew where associated with high blood sugar. Including joint stiffness, various infections, blurred and distorted vision, rashes etc.
I have since managed the blood sugar pretty well. A1C at about 7 for a couple years now. My doctor just recently reduced one med and stopped another to low blood sugar events. (I was dropping into the 60-70 range. Once it was 54. Just a little shaky, I tell you.)
Then I learn the low blood sugar can be fatal.
Oh bother!
I thank God for the treatments and knowledge our doctors have today. A hundred years ago, I already be gone to see the Lord.
peace to you
I doubt I have enough money to pay Benny Hinn to heal me. I admit though, if I thought it would help, I might have tried. I had a bladder infection once where (…. edit to remove too much info…)Where is Benny Hinn, when you need him!
Hinn would probably say, “I heal you in the name of Jesus” and then whisper “now listen to your doctor, take your meds, watch what you eat, and get some exercise”… slap me on the head, speak in tongues, and ask for a donation.
