First we know that Fauci tortured beagles & now this:

The U.S. Army is reportedly allowing officials to shoot cats and dogs as part of ballistics research, with the military branch allegedly “quietly” reversing the longtime ban on the practice.

The Army Medical Research and Development Command “has quietly allowed shooting cats and dogs for wound experiments despite a 1983 Defense Department ban on the practice,” the New York Post reported on Friday, citing a document review.

The Post said that People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals attempted to learn the total number of shooting experiments performed on domestic pets, but that the Army rebuffed their attempts.

“This new policy wasn’t highlighted or publicly announced in great fanfare,” PETA Vice President Shalin Gala told the outlet. “They most likely would not want the PR nightmare that would ensue should this information be released.”

The 1983 ban had originally come about after PETA learned of the military’s intention to buy a large amount of dogs from a shelter and test firearms on them.

Meanwhile we get chided by Putin, & we deserve it for promoting this gender bender garbage. Never forget, ‘Dr’ Jill said decency was on the ballot. Jokers one & all.

What seems odd to me is why anyone would put any credence in the charges of the Left. They are proven fabricators, recall the false claims in the FISA warrants, the claim Hunter's laptop was Russian disinformation, and on and on. They should be viewed as the "Boy who cried wolf."

All these absurdities being hoisted are simply to change the subject from the border, fuel costs, inflation, and feckless foreign policy. Not to mention Mr. Biden's decline into oblivion.

Right wing Republican's all love their animals and do not see this as a left wing issue. Indeed more Democrats on the left will be far more unsympathetic. Just like you.

Twaddle! No one should pay any attention to the charges of the Left, as they prove to describe the Left's behavior.
Again the issue is the left trying to change the subject from the border, fuel costs, inflation, and feckless foreign policy. Not to mention Mr. Biden's decline into oblivion.

That is, as usual, propaganda by you.
Not at all. PETA wants all animals returned to their natural lives without human control.

Quotes from their website:

"PETA opposes speciesism, a human-supremacist worldview, and focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: in laboratories, in the food industry, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment business. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of rodents, birds, and other animals who are often considered “pests” as well as cruelty to domesticated animals."
About PETA | PETA

"Speciesism—like sexism, racism, and other forms of discrimination—is an oppressive belief system in which those with power draw boundaries to justify using or excluding their fellow beings who are less powerful. A human supremacist line of “reasoning” is used to defend treating other living, feeling beings like research tools, fabric, toys, or even food ingredients—even though they share our capacity for pain, hunger, fear, thirst, love, joy, and loneliness and have as much interest in freedom and staying alive as humans do."

They are not talking about abandoning cats and dogs. They have nothing against people having cats and dogs as pets. They them selves have dogs and cats as pets. They, like most decent human beings, don't want them shot for ballistic tests. Its cruel and inhumane. It's sick! Why can't you get that through your head?

Why can't you read what I posted from PETA and admit you are wrong?

I read what you posted. I always do. It is immoral to shoot dogs and cats, to torture them for ballistic tests. Why can't you acknowledge that?

I guess I read "101 ways to kill a Cat" when I was younger. Cats are a species that we could easily reduce the population and still be quite happy. Dogs, well, they are man's best friend, but those "leg hounds" could use a few ballistic rounds to end them quickly. While we're at it I have some possum, coon, and skunk the military could use as well.

Regarding PETA, they are radically progressive left and here you are promoting them. Hmmm....

How else is the govt supposed to test efficacy of a cartridge? The cats and dogs were going to be killed anyway. Being shot by military weapon should be a fast and humane kill. They were going to get the needle anyway. Ballistic gelatin is not always indicative of real world performance.
I am by PETA like I am with Pelosi, they are ALWAYS wrong.

It is cruel and inhumane. Inhuman brother, just inhuman. They are going to wound them and cause them sadistic pain. Evil, torture. A dog and a cat do not represent human bodies. The data does no good whatsoever. Pelosi no doubt would agree to this. She's not going to stop it which she could easily. But she will not take Petas side here. She delights in causing pain to humans and animals alike.

They hang them up in a sling to keep them immobile. They also list using monkeys & other mammals. People are other mammals…..maybe they can start determining who is a useless eater who ‘will die soon’ anyway. I don’t know about your dogs & cats, monkeys or other mammals, but mine would already be traumatized from hanging them up in a sling. I see NO valid reason to employ this research. Maybe cadavers? Everyone righteously donates their eyes & other organs, why not donate the whole body to get shot up for that ‘ballistics’ research?!

Why is testing munitions in animals any more cruel that hunting animals? Neither are cruel. Both have a purpose. Shooting nuisance animals has been a long accepted practice.

Do you shoot to wound? Don't ethical hunters shoot to kill with one shot! Cats and dogs are not nuisance animals. These were once pets that need homes, not good ballistic material at all. How does a dog or a cat represent a human torso? How does a dog or cats head represent a human head? How does a dog or cats stomach represent a human stomach?

The military is using a tissue to study bullet performance. They kill quickly enough. The animals were going to be killed anyway. I will choose to get upset about babies being killed. I will leave the dogs and cats for you to get worked up about.

This research will save lives of American soldiers. By all means, let's worry more about the cats.
