Let the title of this thread lead your thoughts and responses. Just what lies ahead for America, our children and their children?

Do you feel hopeful? Do feel anxious? Do you feel sad and concerned? And just what do you believe God must be thinking right now when it comes to this once great nation?

I once believed that America would be right there in the end times, and I rebutted those who said differently. However, I think with everything that is happening and how quickly is happening, that America will not be involved in any way with the end times! So, what are your views, now that everything seems to be falling apart?

9-11-2011 Twin Towers....same Jewish date is Elul 29

9-29-2008 Stock crashed 777 points...same Jewish date is Elul 29

9-15-2015...???....same Jewish date is Elul 29

Elul 29 is the end of the Jewish 7 year cycle...it is a Day of Judgement for turning away from God, or can be a day of restoration for obeying God... Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah is at this time.

As a nation that started a covenant with God in 1789 to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we have turned our back on God. We have had 2 warnings, each one gets worse than the last, less we repent. Our candlestick is about to be removed.

Well let's see.... since most refuse to read and study their Bibles, Christianity has been in trouble for a long time.

As an example, yesterday on a KJV page on FB, they quoted 2 Chronicles 7:14. I pointed out to them that this promise was NOT made to America; rather it was made to Ancient Israel, that a reading of the context would reveal that the LORD was telling Solomon something. I then said that some verses are FOR us but not TO us. Finally I said that a Christians, we OUGHT to pray based on the many NT verses telling us to pray.

The result? Some people flipped out on me! They got mad when I said to read their KJV bibles morr, discover the context and realize that 2 Chronicles 7:14 was a promise made to Ancient Israel regarding idolatry, captivity and then restoration. The problem: they didn't want to read nor think. And if reading the Bible and meditating on it is too much work for American Christians, then we're in much more trouble than we originally thought.

The same thing that has been before it before.

The kingdoms of the world are passing away and will be ended when the fullness of the Kingdom of God reigns upon the earth.

Like every other earthly kingdom, America has always been irrelevant to the Kingdom of God.

If you feel things are "falling apart," then you've been placing too much faith in the kingdoms of this world. While God occasionally intervenes in the rise and faith of earthly kingdoms, nothing has taken Him by surprise and certainly He is not worried about it.

Christians get caught up in the gloom and doom because they are trying to hold on to THIS world instead of making arrangements for the KIngdom to come.

If you're a follower of Christ, why wouldn't you be hopeful and anxious in anticipation of Him coming to get His bride? Are Brides not anxious as their wedding day gets closer?

The only thing that saddens me is that Christians seem more concerned about saving this country and world and all its riches for their grandkids to the point that they present themselves as an enemy of Christ.

Do that which grows the Kingdom to come and accept the fact that this world has a ruler already so stop trying to "save" it or "take it back". 31Now is the judgment of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out. John 12:31

HALLELUJAH!!! It's almost time for the wedding!!! [IMG] I hope my white robe fits! I know the groom is gonna be a sight to behold!!![IMG] I'm trying to invite the whole world because there has never been a wedding like this!![IMG]

Based on your statements, you believe that the stock market going down 777 points is worse that what happened on 9-11?

Read Romans 1 and that will tell you what is and will continue to happen to the US. God is giving the US over to its reprobate mind as clearly shown by the SCOTUS decision yesterday. What we are seeing is God's judgement.

You wouldn't have to hear from me if you and millions of your closest friends didn't spew their constant racism and racial prejudice. SO please be sour. The world already thinks that about those of you who expose your racial prejudice.

That's perhaps why the hand of God keeps moving against the wants and desires of all of you who would liken yourselves to be "conservatives".

Just can't seem to get rid of that Obamacare, huh?
Hows that same sex marriage thing working out for yall?

So the more you deny it, the more God's hand confirms the wickedness coming from you and those like ya.

    SO be sour about that.

Yep. Praise God. ANd shall His hand continue to be against us until we cease and repent of our wickedness that we refuse to acknowledge as wickedness.

That fact that h@m@$3xuality even exists is proof that God had already judged. It has already happened.

But the scary thing is this: the majority of the SCOTUS proved last week that words no longer matter. Scalia had some choice words for his colleagues.

Keep praying for this country, our leaders and for those who just got "married" yesterday.

Its time for an old fashion Revival.....
Its time for Christians to come together as we unite to return to basic moral standards.

    That or:
Will South Carolina once again secede?

That would require repentance. Are we willing to admit our sins and repent?

I don't think so. The secular forces that control the country don't believe in sin, and many in the churches don't either!

Thank you blessed wife. I thoroughly agree, in fact the president has practically gift wrapped this country, the congress ( yeah, both DNC and GOP) has wrapped ribbon on it and the courts have special delivered it to reprobate minds and hearts.

This nation will get the same results that God gave to Sodom and Gomorrah. No question about it. But how long will that be? No one knows but the Lord.

I am not worried what is going to happen during the coming tribulation. But I am greatly concerned about what will happen to our land between now and that awful time to come. There is a very big reason why the USA is not found in the Bible and that concerns me much.

    Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
