Just ask the question, "By whose righteousness will you enter the kingdom?" (Thanks to Amy for posing the question.) The ME folks flee that question like rats out of an aquaduct.

Of course, you ME folks can prove me wrong by providing a simple answer to this simple question.

Now that's just weird, because I was thinking of starting a similar thread.

How can someone who is under the righteousness of God be forsaken and seperated by and from God at any point?

I'll bite. It's by Christ's righteousness. But it is by Christ's righteousness working through you.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Christ's righteousness working through you", but I'll go with that for now.
So, there's no way you can be excluded from the kingdom, since Christ's righteousness doesn't fail. So who are the poor souls that suffer in hell for 1000 years?
And who are the righteous in Christ?

That would be folks who through covetousness or fear or whatever do not allow the righteousness of Christ to work through them.

Now we have a whole thread started based on your false accusations. I see James as offered yet AGAIN to answer your question. Wonder how many times or how many people have to answer this question before we are no longer avoiding your question.

By the way I'm STILL waiting for an answer for some proof that those that Jesus encountered were spiritually dead and I've been waiting for DAYS for an answer to that question. And the only response I've gotten so far is read your Bible.

Talking about fleeing a question like rats out of an aquaduct . . .

Give scripture to show that Christ's imputed righteousness can fail.

Give scripture to show that Christ's imputed righteousness depends on what we allow.

    You cant, obviously. Next excuse.

That makes no sense. The Holy Spirit works through you after you have been declared righteous.
You seem to be saying that we can turn righteousness on and off by our actions.

    LOL!!!

    Click. Now I'm righteous.

    Click. Now I'm not.

    Click. Now I'm righteous.

    Click...

You must admit, ME is good for some laughs. Not for anything else, but still good for a laugh.

...and while they are at it...please show how a spirit indwelt believer, with the righteousness of Christ, can exist in hell (spiritual separation from God). I would like to know how God can be separated from God...

This game is turning into a rout. Looks like MEs will have to regroup for the next round.

Do we have to suffer to have Christ's righteousness imputed to us?

    Philippians 3:8-11
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
    10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Perhaps there is another sense in which Christ's righteousness is to be found in us, not merely through believing on Him.

Psalms 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

Yes, maybe it's in one of those "other" gospels that Paul says whoever teaches them is accursed.

And, almost as though he were writing specifically about the ME heresy, Pauls says in Romans 10:

Again, as if to directly contradict ME...

LOL! I just saw that James used the same scripture as if it supports ME. Delusion.
