Greetings from the Great State of Texas. More specifically, Pearland, Texas.

I am not a native Texan. I grew up in beautiful Southern California. Left there when I entered the military and they sent me to Okinawa.

Don't want to go back because CA is infested with liberals and environmental wackos! (Not to mention I do not want to pay $500,000.00 for a shack.)

We are members of Southview Baptist Church. We associate with the SBTC, and the Gulf Coast Baptist Association.

I started my Bible training at California Baptist College and finished my degree with a small conservative, non denominational seminary.

I won't say when I attended CBC, but I wore white platform shoes, double knit leisure suits, and wide ties.

I am a former pastor (BMA and SBC) and now drive an eighteen wheeler. I found truckers are easier to live with than deacons!

I may not post allot, but I enjoy reading folks opinions on various subjects.

God bless,

Gary

Hello Gary...nice intro!

A great BIG welcome to the BB from the great state of Illinois!

Come on down to the COMMON GROUND COFFEE HOUSE in "All Other Discussions", where as Christians, we are all on common ground...

It is a great place to kick back, relax, and get to know each other. And we have FREE food and beverages!

Blessings,
§ue :)

Welcome to the BB, Gary. The Air Force put me in CA for nine months in 1970, and I wasn't too impressed with the state. I love Florida though.
