The issue is not which party politicians belong to, but that they tend to be addicted to power, and power expresses itself in asserting over-under domination.

If we have somehow overlooked the sins of the past, that does not mean that someone today should get a pass. Foley's behavior would be wrong with regard to anyone, but it is particularly reprehensible with regard to congressional pages, over whose destinies congressmen have control. That makes sin, bad as it is, into abuse, something even worse.

 

So the Rev has convincingly shown us that the republicans have become the democrats.

That gives us another reason to vote them out.

 

As if we coudn't get a small list pulled together about the Repubicans.


I am sorry Rev, but you have certainly missed the mark with this one. Instead of trying to help the kids, your people covered it up. Then, when it hit the fan, instead of readily admiting that something went wrong, your people tried to cover it up and pass the buck.

Actually, currently it does. As no MAJOR news organization that I am aware of has reported otherwise. I could be wrong, I don't watch th news 24/7, but if what you're saying is true, the Republicans should would make sure it got out to every news organization and let the world know.

Again, I could be wrong and could have missed it, as I don't watch the news 24/7, but I would think news like that would be breaking news and on every network and every channel. I haven't heard anything other than rumor or opinions stating the facts as you tell it.

All this is just more evidence that the republican party has become as corrupt as the democrats ever were.

The only reason to vote democrat this year is to remove the worst of the stink. But if you let the democrats rule for a couple of decades, you'll see the same thing happen again.

This may be of interest. One of the talk show hosts believes the story will be drooped pretty quick or is happening. Because the Democrats already knew and the more this comes out the more it hurts them also. The more it hurts or makes the gay community and such look bad, as noted by commentator.
