I just realized that, as a cabinet maker, it would be very easy for me to keep a person like you very happy at Christmas.

 

It's going to take a lot more than carpentry....:laugh:

 

Good, cuz I need *A* filing cabinet! I have one, but have to wait for someone to carry it inside for me. (lo, I am a weakling)

I did get an awesome MICROWAVE for Christmas! It's so cool I have to read the instructions to use it. :smilewinkgrin: It's an Emerson Professional Series thingie that works so fast and heats so evenly that I'm considering the merits of just sticking it on top of the stove and using the microwave for everything now.

HA! Ok, I'll still use my stove, but I never had my cup of tea ready so fast in the morning! And it even has a setting for milk, so you get nice hot milk without that layer over it and stuff.

Oh, and just the heavy, confident sound that the door makes when you close it is all heavy sounding and makes me feel all efficient and spoiled. Funny how little stuff like that can boost your mood 10 degrees!

Tell me how someone gets away with giving appliances as a Christmas gift? I gave madre a blender one year. Bad move on my part. I followed the next year with a nice set of professional quality kitchen knives. I believe her response would've constituted a threat in most states.

If you need a stand for that new Emerson Professional Series thingie talk to Benjamin. When he delivers your new microwave stand you can have him carry the filing cabinet inside as well. Don't you love a win-win?

As far as working out more, come on now! Whatever happened to men being all manly and carrying the heavy stuff while we women just give them directions on which way to walk with it? What are ya, libral? :tongue3:

PS: According to my profile, I'm under 13. So I can't be expected to work that hard anyhow. Child labor laws ya know! Dumb thing won't let me change it, at least not without parental permission and my mamma's six feet under so I can't even ask her!
