"The new covenant is not an offer of salvation. It’s an accomplishment of salvation in the hearts of God’s people. He gives them a new heart and a new spirit, a gift of life, gift of faith, gift of obedience."

In What Sense Did Christ Die for the Non-Elect?

    Off topic.
John Qwen wrote, ". . . to be shed for them only that they might be the deeper damned . . . ." As part of a complex question.

I am fully on topic in my posting. I directly address your proposals via the article and via my quote. That you still cannot comprehend is not my fault nor the fault of the topic. Instead it is your obvious ignorance that causes you to have no comprehension of what has been said. I wish that you could understand as you would have light where you presently have none.

Start your own thead to explain so even the simplist Christian can comprehend this truth I fail to comprehend. So all can see what type of spiritual fool I am. Now go.

No need. My comment was specifically on topic.

I gave 3 choices. What should have been the fourth choice? Or how would you have written the choices differently? Or leave this thread.

Setting aside scripture (about which we can argue forever), the concept of a Crucifixion and Resurrection that actually saves nobody (because of some additional requirement) rubs against the fur of all those “OMNI” that define God. It just feels wrong on a visceral level.

Jesus paid for the sins of the chosen and elect and the elect will not perish.

    That was option one!
He said that - just did not use the word "elect"

Words are important. I can see your point of view, but I know 37 enough to know that he was not precise for a reason so that he can have a mixed up and variant view of chosen and elect somehow fitting within all humanity having all their sins paid for...yet not fully paid for since some die in their sins. The contradiction is obvious to anyone with discernment.
