It is hard to hold Obama and the USA up as the Great Satan who will not talk to us. He said he would talk to them.
Bush, through the Iraq war, has been the best recruiting tool they could have hoped for. Nothing new in this news. They have lost this recruiting tool.

1. Obama is very popular with the average person in the Mid-East. He has taken away much of their relivence to the average person there. They have been loosing sympathy for several years and this pushed them further into a corner.

Will all this be good or bad in the long run? I have no idea. I will let some time pass watching what happens.

You seem to be bending over backwards to ignore the obvious intent of the the cartoonist to blather on with your own anti-Bush spew.
And yes, I agree with the guitarpreacher that Obama will do little if anything to bring Bin Laden to justice.

You really should stay up on the news. For the last five years, troops have been in the Middle East and Afghanistan chasing Bin Ladin, and more importantly, destroying his network. Saying that Bush has done nothing indicates that you are don't keep up on current events ... or past events for that matter.Obama could not do any worse than Bush has done, which is nothing!
Time to let Bush and his mistakes go. His term in office is over.Crabtownboy said:

No, but you said he had done nothing. Your statement was incorrect, and should not have been made to begin with, and should now be corrected. He has done something, though he has not succeeded.Has Bush captured or killed Osama Bin Laden like he said he would?
I am well aware of what you were talking about. It was incorrect and should not have been said.If you read the headline in the cartoon you will see what I was committing about.

You know, these type comments just show the vicious bitterness that the left holds for Bush, regardless of the reality.targus said:Actually, Bush has put sufficient pressure on Bin Laden and his followers to prevent another attack on U.S. soil.
I would hardly say that is nothing.
Two boys are playing football at this park in a small town in South Carolina when one of the boys is suddenly attacked by a crazed Rottweiler.
Thinking quickly, the other boy takes a stick and shoves it under thedog's collar, twists it, and breaks the dog's neck, thus saving his friend.
A sports reporter who was strolling by sees the incident and rushes over to interview the boy. He tells the boy he's going to write the story and says, "I'll title it
'Young Tiger Fan Saves Friend From Vicious Animal.'"
I'm not a Tiger fan", the little hero replies.
"Sorry, since we're in South Carolina, I just assumed you were", says the reporter and he starts writing again. He asks, "How does
'Gamecock Fan Rescues Friend From Horrific Attack' sound?"
"I'm not a Gamecock fan either", the boy says.
"Oh, I thought everyone in South Carolina was either for the Tigers or the Gamecocks. "What team do you root for?", the reporter asks.
"I'm just visiting my cousin, I'm a Georgia Bulldog fan", the boy replies, "they're just the best!"
The reporter smiles, starts a new sheet in his notebook and writes-------
"Little Redneck From Georgia Kills Beloved Family Pet".
