    ok, well check out the church marque's in the Clean Humor {really are pretty good. Our church is thinking of using some}
    and my favorits are:

    * "I'm not looking for the undertaker, I'm looking for the Uppertaker!"

    * "You either a Saint or you ain't"

    * "Be nice to everybody, because everybody is having a hard time"

    * "Concentrate on living, because dying will take care of itself"

    * "Do right if the stars fall" {I know Bob Jones Senior said this}

    * "People do about what they want to do"

    * "We are all termanal, but some of us have longer than others"

    * "The only thing we could possibly take to Heaven with us is people" {this should be taken as those we lead to the Lord}

    Are these the kinds of quotes you are thinking about? My preacher says things like this all the time, and I'm sure he got them from other preachers, but I'm not sure who said what. {sorry, I'm forgetful!}

    My pastor is a good ol' boy, who's had the privilege of being under and hearing a bunch of other good ol' boys.

    How about:

    I'm so saved I couldn't go to hell if I wanted to.

    Some people are as doctrinally straight as a rifle barrel--and just as hollow.

    I'd rather be a Baptist preacher than have a paying job!

    Here is one on grammar:
    Now here are some of my favorite quotes ~ [IMG]

    You can lead a horse to water, but a pencil has to be lead.

    I feel more like I do now, than how I felt before.

    No matter where you're going, once you get there, there you are.

    99% of the ifb'ers give the other 1% a bad name.

    The Christian life is not a constant high. I have my moments of deep discouragement. I have to go to God in prayer with tears in my eyes, and say, 'O God, forgive me,' or 'Help me.'

    Dr. Bob, now I know that your are using a liberal/moderate dictionary! You better find a conservative one that lists quote as both a noun and a verb. :eek:

    "He with a heart full of love is richer than he with a hand full of gold."

    "Only Jesus can speak so dead men can hear." J. Vernon McGee, I think.

    *The Bible will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from the Bible.

    *The reason men are so hard to understand is because when God took woman from man, He took all that was good from him! {I'm sorry, men, but I just couldn't resist!}

    Doctor Bob! I can't believe you said that about the IFB's! That's terrible, but I forgive you. ;) :D

    I'm only kidding! a few men actualy have some sense if you can believe it! {kidding again!} I just can't seem to help myself!
    We'll just leave it at: men don't understand women, and women don't understand men! {and that is the truth!}
