I am positive for Covid.

I was tested Sunday morning as I had been exposed the week before and was running fever. I got my results today and am positive. The nurse is supposed to be calling me back in a bit about meds.

It feels like the flu - just not like you are at death's door. All the same symptoms. Just a lesser level. I'll be fine.

I just ask for your prayers that my mother does not get it with her lung condition.

Hi I am so sorry to hear that you have this dreadful desease, even though in a mild form. May the Lord God heal you and watch over you and your family.

Thank you all so much for the prayers and words.

I lost my sense of taste and smell today. Also have not had much of an appetite.

On a humorous note, if there is one, I put two pieces of bacon in the microwave about 10:00 this morning and my mother said, "Oh that bacon smells good." I realized I smelled nothing.

When I ate it - it was like not eating actual food. No taste, no flavor. I was like eating a thin piece of tree bark or the exoskeleton of long bug.

Bleah!!

I had it and was isolated for the Month of October - tested positive twice. After I got rid of the headache, sever fatigue lasted two weeks along with low-grade nausea. The nausea killed my apatite for sweets - still not ken on them. I never had fever and did not loose ability to smell or taste. Still have bad fatigue.

Scarlet, I hope you have a mild case and recover soon. You are in my prayers. May God restore to full health soon.

Sorry for your malady, Scarlet. Will be praying for you. If you don't mind tell us what meds you were given.
BTW: My wife and I both had COVID and were around my 88 yr. old mom quite a bit. She is a cancer patient with only one lung and heart trouble and has remained COVID free through all of this.

You have immortality until God’s ordained work for you to do has been completed. Happy thanksgiving

This hacking cough is the worst, so I was given a prescription cough syrup. And a z-pak. I asked for Plaquenil but was not given it as that particular clinic does not give prescriptions for it.

I was advised to take over the counter Theraflu. That's all helping. I sleep better. I'm still just fatigued and don't care about eating much.

Sorry to hear you have covid and I will pray for you. Just found out yesterday that my daughter in law and her mother have covid. So far their symptoms are fatigue and loss of appetite. My wife and I, along with my son and grandson and my daughter in law’s father all got tested yesterday, but it will take up to 3 days to get the test results.

If I understand, all of your son's family has the virus, but it did not spread to your home?
My son, daughter in law, her mother (her father is still waiting on his results) and grandson have tested positive. My daughter in law believes it started with her cousin and more of her extended family members might have it.
