I do not understand the mystery of grace

    I do not know how many on the BB know of or have read any of Ann Lamott's books. I like her very much. She is so deadly honest and I find that very compelling. I ran across the following quote by her:

    How many of us really do understand the mystery of Grace????

    To me, most all Christian theology is a mystery. It was obviously developed by reading the Bible backwards. This happened thus we must believe . . . .

    Love the quote -- thanks for sharing. I am not familiar with Ann Lamott, but will look for her the next time at the bookstore (if I can still find a bookstore that has not closed).

    ......because it is a mystery! A mystery of faith I guess. Don't stress over it, we mere mortals can only see a tiny portion of God's plan and most of the time probably get that wrong......
