It's never a good feeling to be wrong. But, I must admit that on so many things, I have been very wrong. Today, I had an epiphany that my left-wing political views are wrong. I was misled by the left-wing educational system and was indoctrinated into socialism. I can't undo the past; I can only move forward into the future and become a right-winger. Here's some things that are going to change:

1. I fully support capitalism. It is the one true just economic system. Everyone has a chance to succeed and the only reason some people don't is because they are lazy.

2. The war in Iraq was a just and needed war. Had we not invaded Iraq, Saddam would have used WMDs on the United States. We need to hurry up and bomb Iran before they get the atom bomb.

3. Terrorists should not be tried in United States District Courts. They should be waterboarded by the CIA and then shot.

4. I fully retract my statements that Hispanic is not a race. I'm still working out what it means to live as a racially Hispanic man, but I hope to figure it out soon.

5. We need to cut taxes for the rich. They are the only people who create jobs.

6. George W. Bush will go down in history as the greatest President ever. One day, statues will be erected in his honor.

I'm not really interested in that. I just want to stop the evil godless libbies from destroying America.
Well, if the upstanding, moral, Christian, conservatives like Mitt Romney can be traced back to Peter, then there would be a basis for stopping the libbies. Maybe ancestry.com could help.

If you were to sincerely make this one change in your belief system there could be hope.

The libs have no respect for life.

It amazes me that any Christian could support them at all based on that single issue.

Good for you.

Since liberals are pathological liars, one benefit of being a conservative is that you don't have to lie about everything.

Especially your politics.

Interestingly enough, there was a "Paul"(OK, so it was "SAUL" then) who made just as drastic of a change a few years ago, so it's not impossible.
Hopefully this is a legitimate metamorphosis, but considering the date, and the obvious "intensity", I just wonder----!
However, even the act of posting such shows a possibility of true change.
Consider how "conservatively" Juan Williams now presents himself!?
Having tasted the fruits of his liberal colleague's "tolerance" when he was on public radio, he seems to be slowly but steadily drifting to the conservative camp.
So maybe there IS hope for the BB Paul!!
