In the Dem and GOP?
Will Hillary run?
How about Ryan?

Didn't Hillary say she was retiring?
Besides...Libya will haunt her.
I am with Lady Eagle on this issue. At the moment it makes no difference who runs in 2016. It will probably two varying degrees of liberals.Honestly, I no longer care. I doubt if we'll even have a nation by the time the results of this last election shake out. I don't plan to be around.
Salty, just my opinion, as there are too many pitfalls from this election and events in general in four years. December 21 is the first one to get over, followed by the fiscal cliff ten days later.Do you think that Paul Ryan will be a player in the 2016 election?
Remember the election is only 1,458 days away - thats only 34,992 hours....... - give me a little bit to figure up the minutes.....
Do you think Hillary or Joe B will be the Dem?
Will Ralph Nader make a comeback in 2016?
In all honesty, this is the most uncertain four years facing us in my lifetime. I am 60. I fear the power to appoint to the Supreme Court more than any. Guess who approves the appointments? The Senate. Guess who is in charge of the new Senate? The Democrats. Guess why? Because two Republican nominees who should have won easily had big mouths and no common sense. (IN and MO).With a liberal Supreme Court a swing to conservatives in the Whitehouse and in both the House and Senate will not mean a thing.
I believe Republicans need to start preparing one now.
I shudder at this thought, but I could see a Clinton/Pelosi tagteam in 2016. Pelosi scares me to death, and I'm a Democrat! They would already have California and I think New York, and that's 84 EV's right there. They're already up 84-0......
I am in total agreement with you, not just higher ups, but us. We have to work at the grass roots level to change the Republican Party from within. A third party will not work, unless something radical happens. But alas, as in 2008, with McCain, we all forget for four years, then in the spring of 2016, we will have another group of liberal to moderate candidates slugging it out to defeat Biden. Now is the time to start.

And Harry Reid is talking about ways to reduce the number ov votes to stop a filibuster!
I heard an interesting observation some years back by Mary Matelin who is married to James Caraville, otherwise known as the snake or something like that. He was on the Clinton team.
MM when asked the difference between a Republican politician and a democrat politician said in effect: "A democrat can look you straight in the eye and lie to you, a Republican can't."
That was obviously before the days of Harry Reid, him of the shifty, downcast eyes.
The question for you convicted1 since you fess up to being a democrat: Is Mary Matelin correct?
Incidentally, how did you enjoy the democrats worshiping at the altar of abortion, endorsing taxpayer paid contraceptives and taxpayer paid abortions at their convention. There they idolized Clinton and Obama and took God out of the platform to the cheers of the delegates? Of Course the name "God" does not belong in a document that glorifies the slaughter of unborn children!
I honestly do not know if MM is correct or not. The bottom line is this; BOTH SIDES, Dems and Reps lie. They'll tell you anything you want to hear to get your vote, period. Whether one lies while looking you in the eyes or not is irrelevent. A liar is a liar. I see this as being akin to "my liar is my liar, but your liar tells lies....na na na na na boo boo". If you bash a Dem and uphold a Rep, you talking about a liar, and holding up another liar. If you bash a Rep and hold up a Dem, guess what? You're talking about liar, and holding up another liar.
You need to defend your liars, and leave the other liars alone. I hear you call the Dems "lying liars". What about the Reps? I guess they're "Honest Abe", huh? I know the Dems lie, and so do the Reps.
The only Dem I could see me voting for for POTUS would be Joe Machin of WVa. He's more conservative than the others, and seems to be "pro-coal", coming from a coal mining state. Plus, he's not a liberal, either. But, he'll never get the "head of steam" to make a run, nor do I think he will even try.
