I Really Need Your Prayer!!

    I've been fighting cancer for 5 years. (See the "Permanent Prayer Needs" thread.)

    I recently started my fourth type of chemo in 1 1/2 years. Have had 2 cycles of the latest one and as part of the side effects (joint and muscle pain and weakness.) I'm unable to walk on my own. This trouble started just over two weeks after the first treatment.
    It is also aggravating the arthritis in my right knee. very painful!

    Please pray the right decision will be made about continuing or not continuing this particular chemo.

    My body could really use a break from this stuff.

    Speaking as her husband let me say how much I appreciate the prayers. It's agonizing watching this and there is really nothing I can do but watch her.
    If there's someone looking at this who has had to watch thier spouse go through something like this, you know where I'm coming from. For those that haven't experienced this, believe me, you don't want to! We've been married 10 years, so half of our marriage has been dealing with this garbage. :BangHead:Don't ever stop praying for her PLEASE!:tear::tear:

    We are starting a 24 hour prayer clock for Gayla in the WPF. If any of the men here would like a time slot, please PM me with your time or post it here.

    We share more among the women in the WPF. And Gayla is really going through it right now. She needs covered with prayer.

    Gayla is my sister in Christ, and my sister in the cancer experience. I have her on my daily prayer list.

    Gayla, There isn't one piece of advice I can give you. My heart, my shoulders, and my knees, bent for prayer, are what I can offer.

    Gayla was in too much pain and could not stand up. The ambulance took her to the hospital around midnight, Tuesday.

    We really need some prayer warriors on this.

    I am still praying for you Gayla and your family. We are in the 1st stages here and have to keep constant watch on my wife, so I know a little of what the family is going through. Cancer is a dreadful desease, but God is more powerful, if its his will. God Bless you from my heart,

    So sad to hear that Gayla has been given up to 6 months to live and the cancer has spread up and down her spine.

    Praying for you and the boys, Carl, and for a miracle for Gayla.

    Make the next 6 months the happiest of your life...
