'cuz I just saw Ted Kennedy reading from the bible at Mrs. King's funeral.

Did you know the state coroner said Miss Kopechne may have survived for two hours in Ted's overturned car ?

I had to change the channel -- too much politics and grandstanding at a funeral. Did you see the applause Kennedy got when he talked about "blessed are the peacemakers?" A clear jab at Bush, who is present?

Didn't the devil quote the scriptures to Jesus while out in the wilderness?

Let it go, folks. It's a funeral. I personally don't think that such things should be debated in regards to funeral proceedings.

Now, if you were talking about the Alito hearings, and how Kennedy went on and on with concerns about Alito's elitist background, I'd agree with you (a Kennedy complaining about elitism just seems a bit odd).

Bro. Curtis, while I am sitting here on the net, my TV is on in the other room...

...I thought I heard someone quoting scripture and I went into the other room and saw Teddy quoting the beatitudes....

...I had the same reaction you did.

I'll do no such thing. I feel about Kennedy the way you feel about Kent Hovind. You never let anyone's feelings get in the way, so neither will I.

I'm suprised the bible didn't burn his vile hands off.

Good point: both are fakes and frauds, and have gotten away with it.

Well, if Kent Hovind or Ted Kennedy want to come and speak at my funeral, they're welcome to. If they don't like my comments about them, they're welcome to dance on my grave if they want to. I'll make sure I'm buried at sea.

Now Carter is ranting about secret goverment surveillance and wiretapping. I have no respect for this, it is an outrage. Can't they just have a funeral?

    No, they can't.

Even Ronald Reagan's youngest son used his speaking time at his father's eulogy to take "covert" pot shots at George W. Bush.

I often wonder how Martin Luther King would have felt about abortion.

How in the world did this fit into a funeral. Man, some people don't miss a chance.
    Maybe he is getting senile.

Also, didn't the Kennedy's have MLK's phones tapped ? Didn't Bobby Kennedy consider him a threat to national security ?
