I started writing this parody last night, thinking it would be relevant today. While it apparently isn't, I'll post it anyway...

ICE is a many slipp'ry thing
Here in Texas when we start to think we're nearing spring.
Then back comes Old Man Winter;
Our spring-like thoughts he'll splinter.
We'll slip and slide on a crazy ride he'll bring.

When we were kids so long ago
On a wintry morn we'd sit tight by the radio,
Full of hope that we from school would slip
And have a winter fling--
Oh, ice is such a many slipp'ry thing!
