We’re buckled down in Pennsylvania - everything is cancelled - we had church services last night.
Predictions are for up to 2 feet of snow starting soon.

With Ma in her kerchief and Pa in my cap, we’re all settled down for a long winter’s nap.

Power out, running generator. Several big tree limbs have fallen, and a smaller one on house top. We have large trees around our house, and one large limb hanging over one room. This is very scary. Several more hours of precip to go, then turning much colder, and winds up. I hope and pray we survive.

No power for 24 hours. Freezing cold in the house. Can't get down the driveway. All roads. Are closed. Wearing 4 sweaters and 4 pants . Glad to have grandmothers quilts. Several. Brother and I will sleep fully clothed together in deceased parents king sized bed. Sat in car for a while for heat

We're still here. Went outside after daybreak to survey the damage. In addition to what I said in my last post, we have some large limbs hanging by a thread, very close to the house. If they fall, could be a major problem. No telling when power will be restored. Not getting above freezing until mid-week.
