Yes and yes. Same thing as 2000 and '04; my vote for him is more a vote against his opponents.

NO!! I didn't vote for him in 2000 or 2004 and wouldn't vote for him this year. Eight years of Bush in the Whitehouse is why we have the GOP trying to give us McCain, they thought eight years of Bush had us ready for the liberal Gulliani, and when they found out the voters weren't quite ready for that, they decided that McCain was maybe the next best liberal to help continue moving the party to the left. If they continue this trend there we will never see a conservative GOP candidate ever again!

I would vote for him again in 00 and 04 given the choices given. If he could run this year, I would vote for someone else in the primary (except Giuliani, Romney, and McCain). The two term limit is a good thing.

I wish that Bush had picked a VP in 04 that was a strong conservative, attractive, healthy, that could have stepped right into the nomination.

If I wanted to dig up former Republican Presidents to run again, I believe Reagan, Ford, Eisenhower, and even Nixon would do better than this one.

What you (or me, or anyone else) think of President George W. Bush, Sen. John McCain, Mayor Rudy Guiliani, or anyone else is really irrelevant to the question I ask, here. Or whether or not any of us would vote for any or all of them, for that matter.

Since over half of the delegates to the Republican and Democratic Party Conventions, where the nominee is selected, are determined by primaries, the collective culprit in the major party selection still happens to be "WE", not some undefined "they".

That is specifically true in Florida, which just as Kentucky, does have a primary. My state simply hasn't weighed in yet, unlike Florida which has already, and doesn't until May 20, 2008.
