Don't state marriage laws already stipulate that a person may only be married to one person? Otherwise it is polygamy.
Right, but what would be the controlling principle that would prevent those laws too from being changed?
After all if marriage is not between one man and one woman in keeping with Judeo-Christian beliefs (which I hold to be the current controlling principle in the U.S.) what will be the controlling principle that replaces it?

If the libs are successful in making gay marriage legal across the nation...
What is the controlling principle that would limit marriage to a union of only two people?
Why not three people or four or more?
Only if it's a matter of puppy love, of course!! :smilewinkgrin:What's next, marrying your "domestic partner" pet?
Obama claims to be a Christian
I'm okay with civil unions for gay people.
