We've had a few flakes this year and the children get SO excited! I'd love to have a foot of snow for Christmas. Jim only has to work part of tomorrow and will pick up our extra groceries on his way home. His main job gave everyone a gift certificate for Kroger's and there's not one in our little town. [IMG] I wouldn't mind being snowbound for a few days.

We lived in Connecticut for about 12 years and LOVED the snow.

I love your snowman Diane! We don't see much snow here although I do remember one white Christmas when I was about 8 and my sister and I made a snowman much like the one above.

    Wow!

It's getting chilly here in the OC as well. It's dipped down to the mid-60's!

Live it up folks. It's suppose to be warm and wet here. That will spawn a new batch of mosquitoes just in time for a annual football game.

It is supposed to be a bone-chilling 72 degrees here for Christmas. A little snow sometime would be nice.

We got our White Christmas today. (an inch or less.) I don't mind the snow, but the cold and wind need to go.

We awoke this morning to a light dusting of snow on the ground and a few flurries throughout the day. That's about all we get around here and it is usually gone in a day. That's fine with me. I was stationed up north for several years and I can tell you that I do not like to shovel it or drive in it. However 12-6-96 we got 10" in less than 4 hours. The area was totally shut down for a couple days because the only snow removal equipment is at the airport because the FAA regs say they have to have it to keep the runways open.

We had rain all day, sleet now, and in a few hours snow. I just hope this doesn't freeze on the power lines.

Here in MO we have already gotten 10-12 inches with 10 more being predicted.
Very unusual for this time of year, and we never get more than an inch or two.
The temp. high tomorrow is suppose to be 15.
    Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

    Good Morning!

My home now hit blizzard!!! My area missed the first punch of storm yesterday, whiched dumped about 10 inches from Cincinnati, Dayton through Cleveland. But, My area got second punch of storm comes from Arkansas, THANK to Arkansas!! [IMG] Here in around Detroit expect receive near a foot of snow today!!

Tomorrow I will drive down south ot Florida. I will see LOT, LOT of snow dumped through I-75 all the way to Kentucky from Toledo, Ohio. I will stop visit my good old deaf friends' house in Carlisle, about 15 miles southwest of Dayton, Ohio. That area expect received 2 feet of snow total by this early morning!!!! WOW!! I can't wait to see so deepth of snow at my friend's house tomorrow.

I will arrive at my parent's new house in Port Charlotte, FL. That area hit by Hurricane Charley last August 13. But, my parent's house stand very strong against powerful winds. Most of old homes and mobile homes destroyed or totaled everywhere arounf Port Charlotte & Port Gunta too. I will see around remain debris around Port Charlotte and Port Gunta while on my vacation.

    I LOVE Snow!!!!! [IMG]

We've only got a couple of inches of snow on the ground here in northern Wisconsin. All the big storms so far have passed to our south. It will definitely be a white Christmas though - no danger of melting in the next couple of days. Yesterday's high was -4, today it's expected to get all the way up to -9. Tonight's low is forecast to be a balmy -25. Can't wait til the cold months get here.
