My Windows 7 software came with only one Narrator voice, "Anna".

Are there any freeware voices or even some inexpensive ones I might purchase?

AND once downloaded, how do I install them?

My daughters name is Anna, one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard.

I have win7, not used the voice facility thing though. Are you disabled in some way?

So much to read, so little time.
    My eyes are slowly deteriorating.
They still work fine at the right distance but too close or too far is a problem.

More than half of the books I bought this year have been digital.
I've found that getting a little help with a read-a-long helps a lot.

Actually, my eyes seem to be failing too. I find small print hard these days, time for glasses maybe?

You might try the following for info on the feature but did not find voices. They may be mentioned in these links but don't know:

    http://www.microsoft.com/enable/training/windowsvista/tts.aspx

    http://www.microsoft.com/enable/training/windowsvista/narrator.aspx

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Change-the-Narrator-voice

If you do not find any free ones the below might help. Lots of voices but costs. http://www.bytecool.com/voices.htm

Google for "free text to speech voices" and you might find something.
