    I’m pregnant…now what?,
Heartfelt Advice On Getting Through An Unplanned Pregnancy

by Ruth Graham and Sara Dormon, Ph.D
    Regal Press 2004, 208pp

    http://www.forpregnancyhelp.com/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi

Unplanned pregnancy is a sad fact among our churches.
This book offers advise and testimonies from girls, their families, adoptive parents and counselors about the difficult decisions faced during these times.

    Helpful chapters include:
    The Truth About Abortion
    The Decision Process
    Finding the Perfect Family (adoption)
No One Can Love My Baby as Much as I Do
    Letting Go
    I Don’t Fit In
    The Ripple Effect
    Birthfathers
    Life as a Single Mom
    How Should the Church Respond?

    and other chapters…

Unfortunately when you are in this situation it's almost too late to read the book.

STRONGLY recommended for pastors, teens in trouble and for their families.
Gut-wrenchingly honest and to the point about how to help those in this situation.

Well, I WAS gonna say "when our Deacons start getting pregnant we may as well give up", and point out the contraception thread a few forums up, but then I clicked and see that the title is cut off on the main board!

Gina, I know...I read the title of "I'm Pregnant...Now What?" and then underneath "Deacon". [IMG]

So, I'm a bit more liberal than you thought.

To be fair, most unplanned pregnancies occur among married persons. We shouldn't presume that the phrase "unplanned pregnancy" is a taboo. My first child was unplanned. We were hoping to wait another year, but I guess God had other plans [IMG]

I guess I should have qualified it as unplanned, unwed pregnancy.

Congratulations John!! Is this a brand new announcemant or something that happened a long time ago?

Will we be seeing more late night posting in a few months. [IMG]
