You need to move past "simile" and
on to an understanding of "metaphor".
I've bolded the simile indicating words above.
The word "type" (or it's plural "types")
does not appear in the KJV1769.
#1 and #4 above are metaphor types.
Jesus taught in parables (metaphors).
