Just saw this from late Oct - NY prisons to offer food incentives to inmates who get vaccinated.

I thought nY inmates were forced to get the cv jab.???

does the food incentive mean the unjabbed don't eat? Or are "we " just created more division ... in a population which is uniquely divided already. BRILLIANT!

Since inmates were being released to avoid covid infection, maybe they were hoping for early release.

Now there’s an incentive. Get vaxxed, get out of jail.

peace to you

I got a booster. But everybody should make up their own minds. I'm not in a position to recommend or dissuade from a vaccine.

Which vaccine did you get? How did it compare to the first two shots as far as side effects? Is there a limit in your mind as to how often you would be willing to get a booster?

I got the Moderna vaccine. The first shot did nothing to me, the second one knocked me for a loop about a day and half. Personally, I am wanting to wait until April 13, which would be one year since my second shot, to make up my mind about the booster, like the flu shot - once a year.

Moderna.

I got the booster and flu shot at the same time. No problems at all. My arm wasn't even sore with the booster shot.

Did you have any side effects with either of the original two doses?

I did with the second shot. Not enough to mess work but a little dizzy and nausea. Both of the first two made my arm sore.

My wife was sick for a day (flu-like symptoms) after her second shot.

My concern is that if I get a booster now then they might announce the availability of an omicron-specific booster around March and then recommend getting that one, too. I am not really on board for anything other than a yearly shot. Then again, I may just be old and set in my ways. :D

Had no problem with the first two shot -
will call tomorrow and schedule the booster with the VA
The way I see it boosters may be the key.

Moderna released a report showing after 2 shots the vaccine was 50 times less effective at blocking the omnicron varient, but after a booster was highly effective at blocking the omicron varient (over 85% effective).

I always pray that people get #3, just like all the ‘important’ people do, but the odds get worse the more times one goes to the well.

Might as well throw this in too……
