Ed - your use of "Bible" leads to some confusion. God gave us His WORD and His WORDS. He chose Greek/Hebrew.

To equate a translation of it (which is done by MAN, and NOT INSPIRED/PERFECT by God) is problematic.

I do it too. I call it all "my Bible". But it may confuse.

It is hard to word these questions to account for the varity of answers. Apparently you, Brother Dr. Bob, agree with answers 1 through 4. You should answer #4.
I beleive the correct statements are 1 through 6, so i marked #6.

As a Christian i personally i used these as my main Bible:

KJVs - 42 years (King James Versions)
NIV - 7 years (New International Version)
nKJV - 7 years (New King James Versioin)
HCSB - 1 year (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

You got me mixed up with somebody, Ed. I go with the historic definition (#3).

To say that a man-made translation (any one) is "without error" attributes to the work of man the nature of God.
