Innocents Executed #2

On thread Innocents Executed about CP, this statement was made:

So it is logical to believe that some innocent people have been executed.

Yes, you are quite correct.

Since 1973 Roe v Wade in the United States, there have been approximately 50 million innocents executed in the most inhumane ways possible, burned alive with saline, poisoned with pharmaceuticals, or having their brains sucked out while alive, or pulled apart in bits and pieces while alive - all without the benefit of anesthetic or pain killers. All done without the benefit of an appeal of their cruel inhumane death sentence.

For those who are executed by CP, after being judged guilty by a jury of their peers after a preponderance of the evidence and having exhausted years of the usual appeals, they at least have the benefit of a humane death, usually by lethal injection, where they do not feel pain because they are given a sedative/analgesia.

Additonally evidence sometime is found after the person is already in jail. It is very difficult to have a case reopened even if compelling evidence is found. District Attorneys and the police do not like running the possibility of being proven wrong, or in being shown to have done a railroad job on somone.

The unborn who are truly innocent, never having had an opportunity to live their lives outside the womb, never get a chance for appeal or even a voice or an attorney to fight for them. They can NEVER have their case reopened and never have a chance to present compelling evidence as to why they deserve to live. Those who support abortion and support politicians who believe in funding abortion do not like running the possibility of being proven wrong, or in being shown to have done a railroad job on the unborn.

An average of 4000 unborn babies are cruelly executed each and every day in the USA, without benefit of advocate in our legal system, without benefit of analgesia, they have been judged guilty by their own parents and the abortionists and pro-death politicians and pro-death voters even though these babies have committed no crime.

What a barbaric society we live in when criminals have "rights" and the unborn have none.

What is the point of creating an identical thread, same title and all,,,Isn't that rather stupid?

Cheers,

Great OP Lady Eagle!

Excellant Lady Eagle!

The baby is weak and vunerable and dependant totally on the care of another, helpless to help himself, unable to protect himself from the attacks and tortures of others.

We would be up in arms if people were allowed to treat young children, the infirm, the frail and elderly, the disabled, those of weak mental capacity by abuse, torture, burning and murder. But the carnage of babies lost through inhuman procedures is just as repulsive.

It is difficult to consider a comparison between this and capital punishment when the later doesnot take place without careful deliberation and attention through the various steps which lead to its conclusion. While I understand there may be a reluctance to overturn convictions..... I don't think most prosecutors and judges would value their reputation above that of the life of a person convicted but innocent. That some might is always a possibility, but, in proportion to those who are guilty and rightfully judged so through processes meant to have checks and preserve their rights all along the way, I believe its a rare occurrence that a innocent person is the victum of capital punishment.

An abortion occurrs sometime between conception and birth: There is often little counseling or thought given or offered unless the mother gets it through a rescue pregnancy center. Like suicide, abortion is often the permanant non-solution to a 'problem' which was only temporary. As such it often becomes a permanant problem which scars the mother-participant for life. And it is a hiedious way to treat a life....made in the image of God.:tear:

So the murder of these millions of innocent children somehow makes the execution of innocent people somehow more palatable?

And no, this is not off topic since this is a direct take-off of an identical thread.

My point is that it is getting to the point that the answer to every political debate is to bring up abortion as the final answer.

No one hates abortion more than I do. I consider it the most pressing issue in existence, but there are other issues to discuss.

Fine, then why aren't you posting in the other thread of similar title where all I addressed was capital punishment?

Do I need to provide a map..... I mean a link?

Mostly because we posted at about the same time :) .
I understand.

I've been absent from this board most of the evening...if not the whole day.... so, upon my return, started reading the threads at the bottom first ......posting only to some which interest me.... That way they sort of turn over in similar order in which I found them....except for those which rarely get active at this hour of the night.:wavey:

No. But I think that there is a level of justified frustration with those on the board who claim to believe that abortion is morally wrong and in contrast to God's word but voted for a politician that pushes to expand the number of abortions performed.

Compounding that offense is the in your face attitude that seems to be coming from the author of the other thread that openly supported our new pro-abortion in chief. As I recall this same individual started a thread within a few days of the election that lamented abortion.

The hypocrisy and self rightousness is sometimes a little hard to swallow is all.

I understand, but I weary of the horror of abortion being used as a political A-bomb in every discussion on every topic. When all else fails, drop the A-bomb.

The lives of millions of innocent babies deserve more honour and respect than that.

Liberals will jump on anything of torture or execution and all the while ignore abortion, or as we've seen here even defend it. So it's them who think it's ok to do one and condemn the other.
This may be a direct take off of another thread, but this thread has an apparent different topic, you can see in the op what the actual topic of this thread is. your a little off.

No one has said that or inferred that to my knowledge. But unless someone can show verifiable statistics rather than base a whole faulty premise on a fiction writer rather than the Bible, then I would say the relatively few numbers of innocents executed on death row do not justify the executions of millions of innocents in the womb.

And no, this is not off topic since this is a direct take-off of an identical thread.

Which is why I started this thread rather than posting my OP in that thread. This is not an identical thread to that one but rather my rebuttal to that thread in this one.

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it. I disagree with your opinion.

Is this like KJVOnlyism again?

Are you not troubled by the murder of unborn children?

Do you not recognize them a human beings as the Bible describes them or do you just consider them a mass of flesh like a tumor to be cut out and discarded in the trash?
