Inspiration Ministry Camp

It seems as if almost every time I do some channel surfing on TV invariably I'll come across on at least one channel this program called "Inspiration Ministry Camp."

I've listened to it for a few minutes, but I'm still confused about the speaker. Don't know his name, but he's the one with the slightly tilted head and that glaring eye.

Can anyone fill me in on what this fellow/organization is all about?

The Inspiration Network is the former PTL network. They tend to have very controversial ministers on the network including Benny Hinn and John Hagee. I'd not trust anything on this network, honestly.

No, it's not DC. The one I'm talking about seems a little slimmer and has darker hair, and he always seems to have an audience in the background.

I'm not certain if the "Inspiration Ministry Camp" is exactly the same as the Inspiration Network. Don't think it is because I've never seen anyone else on it but this one preacher as the speaker. No doubt they are similar in many ways, but I don't think the IMC = IN.

Well, I googled Inspiration Ministry Camp and that's a camp for the disabled so I don't think it's that.

Could it be Mike Murdock?

That's him all right!! Does anyone know anything about this fellow's past or his theology? I believe that he's into this "seed of faith" (or whatever it's called), but that's about the extent of my knowledge of him.

GAG. That's Mike Murdock. Seed planter extraordinaire. Just send him $1000 and you can plant your seed of faith and God will return it to you ten fold. He has a program called Wisdom Keys.

Now if he will send ME $1000, I will send him some of the increase for his bogus ministry. :laugh:

Yeah, I watched him one day when I was sick and it made me more sick. Bleck!! I can't believe anyone would follow these charlatans! Why doesn't he give his own money to further the Gospel? I'm sure if he sells his huge house or jet plane, so many more could be reached for the kingdom!!

Ugh - these guys tick me off.
