Intelligent Design vs. ACLU

This is yet another example of how our courts have come to stick their noses into religion in general, but especially into Christianity. The A nti C hristian L awyers' U nion has taken full advantage.

From a strictly-secular point of view, evolution, intelligent design, and the power of God are all viable theories for the "origin of species". However, the ACLU tries to keep ANYTHING out of the classroom that even HINTS at the Christian view that there's a sovereign God, while defending the rights of Muslims to bow & pray toward Mecca. (I've heard, but cannot confirm, that one school was forced by a court to allow students/ faculty to carry little "Mecca-pointers", special compasses that indicate the correct direction toward Mecca from anywhere on earth but the poles.

The way to hit the ACLU is in the POCKETBOOK. They spend $40 mil a year on their frivolous lawsuits, but you can bet that the individual lawyers in it won't spend outta THEIR OWN bank accounts. Dry up their funds, dry up the org. Any Christian using an attorney, please make sure he/she isn't an ACLU supporter or member. That org is the GREATEST ENEMY of Christianity upon these shores.

 

Intelligent design theory is just evolution with God in the driver's seat anyway. It's not really anti-evolution at all. It is an assertion that life is so complex it had to have some help from God to get started and to make key evolutionary leaps. It is an argument from ignorance, I.E. I can't imagine how THAT could have evolved therefore THAT must have had some intelligent design behind it . . . and then continues to assert the same even if somebody else takes up the challenge and postulates an evolutionary path for the alledged "irriducibly complex" biological phenomenon.

To date, there has been nothing from ID except the bald announcement that it makes about this or that phenomenon in biology - no predictions are made, no definate criterion for defining intelligent design have been established, no laws of creation set forth. It's not yet an established science like biology or geology or astronomy or chemistry

 

The truth is gradually being unveiled for the whole world to see.
