I currently have AOL DSL (thru Time waner) I am thinking about changing, as AOL DSL takes so long to load up, and for a problem I have getting into my edit section for my website.

I have heard that VERSION (phone company) and TW Roadroaner is good.

What do you all think? Any other suggestions?

    Thanks

It has been my experience on the East Coast that Time Warner RoadRunner Internet is quite fast in loading pages. I highly reccommend it.

You might take a look at earthlink.com - have had dial up with them for years and usually good service and hardly ever are they down. Dsl for about two weeks now and all looks good.

I would stay away from Verizon. I have them and their service is bad. Speeds are hit and miss, and when the connection goes down, you have to call someone in another country who wants to read the "step by step" instructions to "fix" you problem.

As soon as this contract is up (next month) I will be going with Earthlink. Alot of my friends have them and they love them.

I'm with BellSouth (AT&T now). No worries. I'm hoping the rates will drop a little, since AT&T's prices were lower than BellSouth's.

i work for the TimeWarner Cable RoadRunner National Help Desk! :p
    (roadrunner highspeed online)

i'll tell ya right now it's a great service. two companies just merged into RR - comcast and adelphia. which is nice.

extremely easy to set up emails and everything.

EDIT: the east coast rarely has outages - unless it's some freak storm. but there's barely any outages on the east coast.
earthlink employees work in the same building as us - but not very many. :p

    God bless!
