Introduction

Hello. I am new to this board and this is my first post. So, here is a little about me:

I was raised as a Baptist and my doctrinal beliefs are closer to Baptist than any other Christian denomination. My home state is West Virginia.

I use the King James Bible.

I am firm in the belief of the Ruin-Reconstruction (“Gap Theory”) doctrine of Creationism.

For the past 3 years I have worked and lived in Kuwait. Not by choice, but by assignment. For 20 of the past 23 years I have lived and worked outside of the United States in Central America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

I own socks older than many of the participants of this forum.

I enjoy watching Fox News.

I was saved by faith and not by my works.

I am a semi-professional movie maker, by hobby.

I am a communications engineer, by profession.

I love cats and dogs.

I carry a “black” passport.

I hate political correctness.

Well, those are the facts. Anything beyond that would be bragging.

I used to work as a DJ at several Stations in the WV-KY-OH area. The last commercial station was WNST in Milton, WV. I left commercial radio and TV back around 1980.

So are you KJO or KJP?

Wow, a potentially divisive question right off the top!

Let me just say this: I am a native English speaker and I have no problem understanding the KJV Bible. I also use the Messianic Hebrew and TR Greek in Strongs for insight and occasionally a certain Spanish and German Bible translation for cross-referencing (different languages have different ways of expressing concepts). So, whatever that makes me, that is what I am.
