All of a sudden, my :($&;/ iPad refuses to maintain my log in data for various sites. I tell it to remember me each time I log in, but when I get out of that site, I have to repeat process - (all sites)!
Most aggravating, and I don't know what to do to correct. Any instructions appreciated! Thanks!!

I found this; let us know if it helps or not:
The solution is TURNING OFF PRIVATE BROWSING! That may have been the problem the entire time. That was mentioned somewhere, but I thought it was done in Settings and that I had it off--but it's not, and I didn't. Open Safari, touch + to open a new tab, then look for and touch "Private" in the bottom left corner. That opens a window that allows you to turn off private browsing. After that, your log-in sites will open a window asking if you want to save the password. Passwords are saved and still fill when you turn private browsing back on.

Thanks, Don! This seemed to do the trick.
One would think that option would be in the "settings" group.
Oh well, it's working now, so thanks again!!!!!
