Iran accuses Obama Kerry of lying to the American people

LAUSANNE, Switzerland — Just hours after the announcement of what the United States characterized as a historic agreement with Iran over its nuclear program, the country’s leading negotiator lashed out at the Obama administration for lying about the details of a tentative framework.

Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif accused the Obama administration of misleading the American people and Congress in a fact sheet it released following the culmination of negotiations with the Islamic Republic.

Zarif bragged in an earlier press conference with reporters that the United States had tentatively agreed to let it continue the enrichment of uranium, the key component in a nuclear bomb, as well as key nuclear research.

Zarif additionally said Iran would have all nuclear-related sanctions lifted once a final deal is signed and that the country would not be forced to shut down any of its currently operating nuclear installations.

Following a subsequent press conference by Secretary of State John Kerry—and release of a administration fact sheet on Iranian concessions—Zarif lashed out on Twitter over what he dubbed lies.

“The solutions are good for all, as they stand,” he tweeted. “There is no need to spin using ‘fact sheets’ so early on.”

Zarif went on to push back against claims by Kerry that the sanctions relief would be implemented in a phased fashion—and only after Iran verifies that it is not conducting any work on the nuclear weapons front.

Zarif, echoing previous comments, said the United States has promised an immediate termination of sanctions.

Except for when it comes to Ukraine. Isn't that right guys? Then they are incapable of lying. Isn't that right guys? Every word they've spoken about Ukraine is the truth. Isn't that right guys?

Just pointing out another fine example of BB hypocrisy. It's a tough thankless job but somebody has to do it.

What about you?

Do you call Obama a liar all the time until he tells a bunch of lies that align with your fears and paranoia, then make out like he's incapable of lying?

Start a new thread about your peve.....I'll look for it!

Look out all that spinning might make you dizzy. The topic of this thread is about Obama being accused of lying. I asked you a question in line with that topic so there is no reason for me to start another thread.

So how about it are you going to answer the question or keep spinning?

I figured as much. You're either allergic to answering questions or you're afraid of answering questions.

So why are you in a place that requires the answering of questions as part of the debate process? Oops sorry didn't mean to scare you with another question.

No since of humor I see. You spun the question to off the topic.....start another and I will meet you there.......don't be afraid.:type:

They're all deceptive. Kerry is an example of his boss. And anyone willing to trust the Iranians, well I have some swamp land in the Artic at a good price.:BangHead:

Slick RD2. I like how you slid that little bit of deception in there.

Trusting the Iranians has nothing to do with it. Getting Iran to agree to the most stringent form of international inspections possible does.

That's not trust. It's a way to avoid another useless costly war.

That's what's really bumming you guys out isn't it? Obama might actually avoid a war with Iran you neocons want so bad you can taste it.

Just think of all those lost profits. Bummer!

Or what? You gonna act like the Gays trying to force me to make a wedding cake?

No I already did what I set out to do. Show that you're either afraid of answering a simple question or you feel you are above answering a simple question.

In either case thanks for your participation.
