Define biotech. But in short, no.

Here's one. If a person is in a car wreck and their body is badly damaged but they can be "saved" only by removing their head and attaching it to a machine, should they do it or should they let the person die?

If it is wrong, what would be the difference between that and a person who has no arms and nothing below the waste? A guy who went to my college has arms, but due to falling down a trash chute essentially has nothing below the waste.

Would it make a differnece if the person's head was attached to a robotic body?
If that is wrong, are prosthetics wrong and if not, at what point are they wrong? What about artificial organs?

well, that was the problem, not knowing about what all biotech was...I guess the difference what changes could we change to our temples that dosent mask our spirit to everyone else? I mean I can't really see myself saying I was a christian if my brain had been replaced with a microchip...that'd be too much rationalization...but I do like nanotech...I mean what's wrong creating tiny robots that do anything? You could use them to create organs instead of using stemcells, and use them as a part of your immune system and maybe cure all viruses in the world...or am I giving them too much credit?

I certainly hope not. About 1/3 of my retirement funds are in biotech stocks.

But to the question of "is all biotech evil"?

    In and of itself, no.
