Is being rich Christian?

    great thread, posted this elsewhere.

    Seems to be a fair handed article, written by someone who checked the texts (i.e. Bible) for grounding and such. Doesn't ignore the PTL stuff in the past and points out the problems in their theology.

    I still remember watch Creflo one day and seeing/hearing him say "it is a sin for a Christian to be poor." Not sure how that translates for those who just got laid off and work for Delta...

    The pox of prosperity preachers is (imho) a destructive side of evangelicalism. Personally I can't stand to listen.
