having known that, not with corruptible things -- silver or gold -- were ye redeemed from your foolish behaviour delivered by fathers, [Beginning with father Adam] but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and unspotted -- Christ's -- foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, and manifested in the last times because of you,

Did Adam bring the need for being redeemed from being under sin and death?
Was to be redeemed by the blood of Christ foreordained before Adam was created in the image of God yet made of the flesh?

Was the flesh and blood Adam given a spiritual law? Thou shall not eat of it?

What sold Adam under sin, bringing forth the death, from which he would need to be redeemed?

    To receive the following?
And not only so, but also we ourselves, having the first-fruit of the Spirit, we also ourselves in ourselves do groan, adoption expecting -- the redemption of our body; Rom 8:23 YLT

'Thou mayest not wonder that I said to thee, It behoveth you to be born from above; John 3:7 YLT

Seems like the question about who was responsible for the "troubles" Job faced ... Satan or God?
Kinda, sorta BOTH. Satan is the means, but a sovereign God is the ultimate "first cause".

Adam brought the need by his free choice (the last completely free choice of man). Adam's choice neither caught God by surprise nor derailed any "original plan" of God. God is God. The Garden, the Rule the Tree, the animal to die and cover his nakedness, the snake in the Garden to tempt Eve, the suitable helper ... all were put in place by God. The angel with the flaming sword could have been ordered to guard the tree, but he was not. Like Job ... God already had an end in mind when He made the first move. Like Joseph and his brothers, God had a plan that was for their good and His glory that was also part of a far greater plan that God had already set in motion (without Joseph being sold into slavery, there would be no Passover ... then how would we have understood about the Lamb of God?).
