But honestly, I think the reason for the outcry is more that they, in their sensual, warped and perverted manner, presented Christ as a strong and heroic character than that they mocked the Gospel.

And this I agree with! They attempt to mock rather than adore. Stupid people ...sinners all. How are they ever going to find God unless people like ourselves, redeemed by God, carry the gospel to them?

I agree, that there is a day coming, when the general portrait of their skit will hold some truth value. But, I think it clearly a pathetic attempt at humor, while in their minds, they are "mocking' chrisitianity.
