....Merry Christmas? That is the question.

As of today, I have not read of or seen anything in the media telling the mindless mice of humanity that wishing others a "Merry Christmas" is a no-no! So, does that mean that it is OKAY for us to wish one another a Merry Christmas in 2019?

Merry Christmas...
brothers and sisters of the Baptist Forum/Board!

Oh, and
Happy New Year!!!

yes - if you know the theological technicalities of commemorating His birth- yes.

"Christ - mass" refers to the FIRST AND ONLY SACRIFICE OF THE ONE AND ONLY MASS which was proven successful by His resurrection .

So yes it took the incarnation, virgin birth, kenosis, death, burial and resurrection for us to be Merry in the sense of - GOD rest ye merry gentlemen... that we should both rest and rejoice in His finished work of the one and only Mass those 2 millennia ago (and rejoice for the remainder if the year).

Therefore
Merry Christmas Brethren (Happy New Year as well). :)
